Writing Autoresponder Messages

Writing autoresponder messages is obviously something you must do if you have an opt-in list. You need to send useful and interesting information to your subscribers and recommend your products and services so you can make money down the road.

However, there is one thing about writing autoresponder messages that many home business marketers ignore. That is correct formatting of the autoresponder messages.

Have you sometimes received an autoresponder message that were all broken up and looked awful? These messages can have four words on one line and ten on words on the next line, or one word begins on one line and ends on the next line.Autoresponder messages like these look very unprofessional and are hard to read. This is not what you want your messages to look like.

To correctly format your autoresponder messages, first read the instructions of your autoresponder company. Each autoresponder company operates a bit differently in the way it handles text. Some messages can get messed up if you use a “hard line break” at the end of the line, and others don´t.(Many online marketers use AWeber because their service is both excellent and affordable.)

There are lots of different email clients, like GMail, Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail to name a few. Each email client is different so you should not allow any line of your autoresponder message to exceed 65 characters.

By keeping the lines under 65 characters, you will avoid lines breaking up.All you need to do is hit “enter” at each 65 character line.

Always test your autoresponder messages by sending them to your self first before sending them to your optin list. This way you can be sure that every message you send looks professional.By being professional, you send your subscribers the message that you really know what you are talking about. As a last tips, sending out only advertisements and sales pitches to your list is a guaranteed way of getting people to unsubscribe. You need to find a balance between helpful information and then recommend closely related products and services that can help solve the problem.

Yes! You are correct,This is one of the most important way to introduce your self and I think first impression is the last impressions. In Business point of view if your mail not post with proper riply then it may indicates the negative sign for you . So setting the auto responding mail properly is must for you.

I should also add that an autoresponder needs to be friendly and you should try to reinforce your brand name and identity in the short message.

I really hate writing autoresponder messages and because of that I’m useless at. My advice to those in my boat is hire someone to do it. For me it’s so important that it’s worth paying an expert.

I think it’s a good idea to limit each line to 55-60 characters, as many email systems will automatically wrap the text at that length.
