Many people are making their own instructional “how to” videos about different topics on YouTube and other video sites.Having videos on your own blog makes it “sticky” so visitors will stay longer.
Video blogging is also popular by internet marketers because some things can be easier explained by a video.Some well known internet marketers use only videos when they market their new products because it is effective and brings results.When we look from the visitors point of view, watching a video instead of reading a lot of text makes a nice change as well.
Here are some basic tips of how to start your own video blog (vlog):
Use your mobile phone or a camcorder and put the lens in front of something you think would be interesting to your viewers, and start recording.Just make sure viewers end up understanding what you’ve recorded.
1.Think of what your video blog (vlog) should look like.If you have no idea what a vlog looks like, browse around the internet for tips.
2.Design your vlog.After streaming the content of your videotape into the computer, its best that you find a suitable and familiar blog site.Start with YouTube.
3.Upload – Post your vlog on your favorite website. That´s it.

If you all ready have a normal blog and would like to add videos to it, you can easily add YouTube videos to your own blog as well by embedding the video.

Video blogging is really good way to improve your relations with your readers. They can see you and hear your voice. In most blogs, including mine, readers have no idea, how their blogger looks like or talks like. Hopefully I will start Vlogging myself soon.

I would like to add one more tip for vlogging that I’ve been thinking about. If you want to vlog for your business, think about the setting that you do your video in. I’ve always done my in my living room but I’m beginning to think that I should pick a more business-like setting.
