Top 9 Reasons For Marketing With Ezines

by Tom on January 27, 2010

In a post some time ago (December 9, 2009) I talked about solo ezine ad marketing and the benefits of doing a solo ezine ad once in a while.Ezine marketing is powerful and cheap even if there are more than just one ad in the ezine.

Today, we are going to look at the top 9 reasons for [Tag-Tec]marketing with ezines[/Tag-Tec].

1.An ezine is a newsletter in electronic form which makes it very easy to respond to an ad.A simple mouse click is a lot easier than picking up the phone, or driving to a “brick and mortar” store.

2.There are much less distractions with electronic format compared to physical. In the “real world” there are many steps the customer has to take before they arrive at your “store” and buy your product. With an ezine, it is just a click away.

3.Every person who receives the ezine you advertise in has opted in to receive it.It is not send without their permission. This means the ezine will be read by persons who are more likely be interested in products and services you have to offer.

4.Ezine marketing is cheaper than traditional forms of marketing like radio, print media or TV.It is also cheaper than most online marketing options like PPC for instance.

5.It is easy to target your ads to the right audience because there are hundreds of ezines in hundreds of niches available.

6.No need to narrow down your category like in traditional classifieds listing that restrict your placements by category.Every reader in the ezine will see your ad.

7.Most ezine subscribers read each issue from top to bottom because they like the information and know what to expect from the ezine.Your ad will get more visibility because each issue contain a limited number of ads.(Usually only 3 ads per issue.)

8.Compared to traditional marketing mediums like TV or radio, people can expect a sales pitch every 15 minutes or so.In ezine marketing, people are more receptive to marketing while reading their ezine. Most people buy when they least expect to do so.

9.It is easy to capture more information about your prospect because of the electronic format. You have the opportunity to get at least their name and email address and contact them again with more information and offers.

Marketing with ezines is really simple, easy and cheap. All you need to do is find suitable ezines to place your ads in.The best place to start is a site called 2 Bucks nŽAd.You can place your ad in hundreds of different ezines for only $2 which is really affordable!

Ezine advertising just like other conventional online forms is still considered as one of the cheapest and straightforward means of reaching your target markets and clients. But some internet marketers are not so used to this technique. Thanks for blog posts, we gain more knowledge about this new technique.

Ezine advertising is a great method and technique to send your selling messages to target customers of an online magazine. I just had a jump start on Ezine so I just have minimal knowledge on it. I will experiment with this technique for the next 3 weeks and will keep you posted on the results.

Brevity is so important even in Ezines, I find it best to sent an email ezine with mainly headlines pointing people to articles of interest on the main site.

You can get away with sending an ezine more regularly than you can a newsletter and it is great for building your brand.

I just read somewhere and found this few additional tips especially to those who are about to start with ezine article submission.

-Make sure it’s 100% unique
-Make sure there aren’t links throughout
-Make sure it’s not keyword spammed

Hope this one helps.
