How To Get Unique And Free Articles For Your Blog

by Tom on August 17, 2010

Posting unique articles on your blog is really important.Your readers want interesting and useful content and the search engines want to rank blogs high in their search results that can provide this. This article shares a few great tips for how to get unique and free articles for your blog.

Marketing online requires action every day or else you will find that your business will go nowhere and you will not earn any money.Blogging is very popular, and those who manage to build successful blogs through hard work over the years often make a lot of money from them too.Building a blog and writing great content is two completely different things and this is something many newbie bloggers realize when it is time to write interesting and unique content for their new blog.

Some newbie bloggers learn about PLR content and use the content as is and post it on their blog. The problem with this approach is that the search engines will not index several copies of the exact same article so even if you get content on your blog, it will not be found on the search engines. There is nothing wrong with PLR content, it just needs to be completely re- written before you can use it because hundreds of others use the exact same article too.

If you have a PLR article, try pasting 2 lines of it in to Google´s search and see how many results you get.You can quickly see how many others use the same article.

Your goal is to get organic traffic from the search engines and the best way to achieve this is to write helpful and unique content that the search engines will index and people can find.By writing great articles that people find useful and enjoy, they will show their appreciation by bookmarking the articles and sending them to social media sites. This again will bring traffic to your blog.

What to do if you simply do not have time to write helpful content for your blog regularly? If you have a self hosted WordPress blog there is a new plugin you can use that makes it very easy to write unique articles for your blog.(For other platforms there is a software called Utility Poster which makes blogging really quick and you get great blog posts every time you use it.)

Peter Lee, a good friend of mine, has written an excellent post where he explains in smallest detail how this WordPress plugin works and how it can make your life a lot easier.

Guys I had written a nice comment here, both asking questions and commenting on the SEO methods / article. Your over-zealous spam filter wouldn’t let me post despite several changes. Punish the bad guys, but not if it means wrongly convicting just one good guy!

Hi Andrew, thanks for commenting. It can be hard to come up with unique content for your blog, but I have noticed that you can get really good ideas just by visiting other blogs in the same niche.

Thanks Tom for the link love. Yes quite a few of my niche blogs currently use this plugin and practically runs on autopilot. The only work I do is to approve the posts before they get published. Well actually the plugin works even better with another plugin which I shared in my latest post below.
