BackType is a service launced by Christopher Golda and Mike Montano.It is a service where you can find, follow and share comments on blog posts from across the internet.It has some similarities to Twitter, but BackType focuses only on blog comments.Comments can be searched and displayed on the meta-data including by author, by time, by topic and so on.
You can follow and be followed on BackType, just like on Twitter.Other users will see stats on your individual page and you can track the comments of the people you follow, everything in one place.The service shows stats on the most commented blogs for every user, and naturally the most commented blogs will get the most attention of BackType users.BackType works regardless of blog platform (Moveable Type, WordPress, Blogger etc)

With all the new services and products coming up almost everyday, sometimes it just feel so overwhelming and at the same time a bit of excitement for the added opportunities.
I think this is a great service, but I bet soon it going to become so competitive that once more again, it will be the big fish in the bond with extra resource and enough time that will be able to benefit for.
