Are you using email signatures when you are promoting your blog? An email signature is the easiest to see and catch because people are constantly checking their email.
How to fashion your email signature? Keep it as simple as possible, avoid inserting files or formatting that makes your email hard and difficult to load.Keep your email signature to max 3 lines:
1.Your blog address.
2.Your name.
3.A short description of your blog.
Why should you put your blog address in your email signature? Because you need people to see what your blog name is and the URL (web address), instead of a hyperlink that says “Click here” or “Visit this site”.
You need your name as author because you are building your brand, and you will also need a quick description of your blog so you can tell the reader what he/she should expect by visiting your blog.
The blog description should be short (one sentence, about 15 words), but it must meet someone´s needs. For instance, avoid saying “A blog about marketing”, you must be more action oriented, such as “Visit my marketing blog now to learn everything about blogging!”
These are only a few tips you can use to promote your blog with email signatures. To learn more about this effective marketing technique, I recommend signing up for a few newsletters and see how the author promotes his/her blog in the emails you receive. If the email signature makes you want to click, then you can be quite sure it is an effective signature that you can model your own signature after.
If you are able to use your email signature well, then you will be able to get more visitors to your blog.

Creating my signature was the first marketing piece I added to my business. It was easy to do and really does get attention. In fact, the reason I started my business is someones elses signature link!
I second your suggestion Tom!
