3.Technorati.com is one of the biggest blog directories out there.When joining you need to confirm your blog by adding a code in your next blog post.The code can be removed later when Technorati has confirmed that you are the actual blog owner.
4.Spicy Page.com is a blog directory that allows you to submit your blog and also add your RSS feed which will update automatically when you publish a new post on your blog the next time.

I have always been a bit skeptical about blog directories and how much effect the links really have. Blog catalog, blog log and technorati are the ones I made sure I got in. Oh, and fuelmyblog, a UK directory
The backlinks from blog directories should be combined with the backlinks from the articles submitted to article directories (on topics closely related to your blog’s most important keywords).
A properly developed backlink program will deliver far more targeted traffic to your blog due to its impact on the search engines than due to the actual directory links themselves.
