One of the foremost and most essential aspects needed in order to sustain marketing is through its customers. The same saying fits aptly for a marketing through Internet. When a website takes its hold and is promoted in a successful manner, people start flowing in immediately. The number of visitors keep on increasing as long as the website retains itself.
If the website has all the right ingredients, which make it more resourceful and current, one may be rest assured that the site would eventually be hit by a large number of regular viewers.
For a flourishing website, one should keep on adding various new facets to whatever he is promoting, and these should be brought in front of the visitors on regular basis. A person may not be able to respond efficiently to a large group of people in a short span of time, which turns out to be a drawback as far as the marketing is concerned. Thus in order to respond effectively to the customers, the email auto-responders appear to be a great help. They help you in crossing the formal ties with the customers, taking your relation on a friendlier plane.
Seeing your emails on a regular basis would help in providing them with various updates about the product etc. Moreover, the auto-responder gives you the opportunity to create emails in such an effective manner that you would not neglect any crucial information.
One should not misjudge the qualities of an auto-responder on the basis of its price. A cheap auto-responder may have all the necessary traits. The kind of visitors on one’s website may vary and so may their purchasing habits. Some may not purchase a product as soon as they set their eyes on it, while others would jump to the buying cart immediately. Similarly, some may feel at ease with filling in the subscription form. All this would depend on how successful you have been in creating a great impact, but it would also depend on how responsive you are to your line of customers!
One may feel that the impact created through a manual response is far more effective than the one made through an auto-response, but an auto-response can also be blended in such a way that it seems like giving a manual touch. The email auto-responders should hold a more humane touch. Create these responses while putting yourself in the customer’s shoes by addressing an issue as if it were your very own.
Your emails should be friendly, informative and current instead of forceful and thrusting. Also keep in mind the fact that the customers normally find many emails agitating for themselves, so the auto-responses should be interesting enough to hold their attention without irritating them. Another aspect to be considered is the importance of the old customers.
As your sales increase with the new customers, don’t forget the old subscribers who actually helped a lot in increasing the sales in the first place. One has to understand the value of a customer. And in order to keep a valuable customer satisfied, a person can expand his sales through a cheap yet resourceful auto-responder.

these can be great if you format them youself and make them sounds personal rather than a sales copy or too scammy.
Listen to interviews with Eben Pagan for some great autoresponder info. If you don’t know eben, he’s a marketer who does 30+ Million a year online and works from home.
Autoresponders are actually tough to convert into sales. If you follow Frank Kern, you’ll notice he doesnt use them anymore, or if he does, they’re 90% character and 10% content.
I’ve noticed that some marketers mistake autoresponders with customer support. An autoresponder should only be used if you’re sure that the visitor will respond to a marketing message or an offer. Otherwise he/she will get grumpy.

Autoresponders are good to keep track of the work at home businesses.
