Does it really matter what Google page rank you have? Does it bring you more traffic and sales? Personally, my traffic has gone up since my Google page ranking went to PR 0 on this blog a long time ago.
I have another blog with PR 3 that gets a lot less traffic than this blog.It must be that Google looks at several things when ranking a website and PR is just one of those factors. I think people should focus less on what PR they have and focus on writing great content instead.

It seems that both of us have something in common losing our PRs. My blog lost its PR3 in April this year for having TLA (text link ads) on it. I never got my PR back even though I’ve taken down the TLA scripts then and sent in my reconsideration request to Google. I agree with you – PR does not mean much as it affects probably only 10-20 pct of how well you rank in Google so it’s not really a big deal. I did see a drop in link exchange requests since most people aren’t too excited about my PR0. Well the bright side of things is that now I don’t have to worry too much about inadvertently linking to bad sites if I missed checking on their link credibility over time.

PR is only one thing Google looks at when ranking websites.I´m not worried at all, my traffic has increased every month.It is unfortunate that many people only look at a website´s PR when they ask for a link exchange or guest post.
I do not believe PR is as important ranking factor as it used to be. We always hear about Google changing its algorithm and its quite possible PR has been downgraded. On the other hand what about links from high PR sites? They have to still be worth something, right?
I see it everyday that the pagerank isn’t so important and it is quite easy to get nice one. However, in my opinion PR above 5 is something valueable
I can only agree. I see it every day that it is no longer important with pagerank but 301 redirect can of course cheat us. Can be a domain with high pagerank behind. With it turns out in the end anyway so.
