Aweber Review:
Why would someone need an auto responder service like Aweber?
In my case, the need for a reliable auto responder service became clear when I understood that in order to get my internet marketing business of the ground I need to get repeat traffic to my blog, and the easiest way to do that is with a list of contacts.
Why Aweber instead of another service?
I have used free auto responder services in the past, but they had advertisements in the messages (they had to get their income too) that I sent out to my list and the services were not very reliable either.I could never be 100% sure that the message had been delivered, not very professional in my opinion.
I have signed up for many newsletters from top marketers like Jack Humphrey and Yaro Starak. They use Aweber, so I thought the service must be excellent. So, I switched to Aweber in September 2008 and I my business has really picked up after that.
Is it easy to use Aweber?
There is a learning curve to everything and the same applies here. When you login to your account there is a step-by-step system in place that guides you through the whole process of creating lists. It is quite simple, but it will take about an hour to really understand how everything works.
Aweber has lots of great features like broadcasting for instance where you can send out an email to your whole list at once, or a new tool that allows you to create professional looking optin forms in seconds. They have also a tool that allows you to back up your email lists.
Aweber has a blog where they post news and important information. This is a good place to ask questions and get answers.Their customer support is excellent and always ready to assist when needed.
Is Aweber expensive?
This is a professional service, but you can be 100% sure that everything works.I like to take it more like an investment than a monthly subscription.Aweber is very affordable compared to many other services out there.
Here is the pricing breakdown at the moment (The prices may change)
- 0 – 500 subscribers: $19 per month
- 501 – 2500 subscribers: $29 per month
- 2501 – 5000 subscribers: $59 per month
The pricing grows the more you have subscribers. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee as well, so if you are not happy you will get your money back.
Something else worth knowing?
Before you choose an auto responder service I recommend asking around.Go to forums and ask around what other people think. When choosing an auto responder it is good to know that once you have a sizeable list, it is not so easy to switch to another service because your subscribers need to opt in again to the new service. You will lose some of your list.It is always better to first do research to find a service you are satisfied with and then stick to it. For me, that service is Aweber.

I want to e-mail a link to a free e-book to people who come sign up for it using Aweber. I have uploaded the book to my site at the webhost, but I don\’t know how to set up the link to download it. thanks…
Hi! You must know the exact path where it is located on your server and then place the link in your auto responder message. Is the ebook in pdf format or is it a zip file? It can be something like this:
Example:
http://www.yourdomain.com/ebook.pdf
http://www.yourdomain.com/ebook.zip
Autoresponders are a great idea unless you want to personally reply to the 80,000 people on your list. Aweber is pretty good, if not the best autoresponder in the market.
