The RSS feed is a really powerful tool for online business owners. It can be used to keep track of top selling items, keeping track of customers and also deliver latest news about what is happening in your business. If you are a blogger you can allow users to subsribe to your RSS feed so they can read your content without visiting your blog, they can read it through an RSS feed reader instead.

If you have an online business, it is extremely important to have a blog as well.Sometimes your blog can get more traffic than your main website and by having an RSS feed people can subscribe to, it can create additional traffic but at the same time can also reduce the traffic to your main site.

You do not want to take away your websites´s money making potential, instead you want your blog to create additional traffic that will benefit your website as much as possible. Therefore you have to monetize your RSS feed to get this benefit. Here are 3 simple ways to make money from your RSS feed.

1.Include affiliate links manually
The easiest way to make money from your RSS feed is to manually include image links and affiliate text links into it.This allows you to get started quickly
and there is a relatively high likelihood that the links and images will convert into sales. You just need to apply them in a way that makes sense.

2.Use private ad deals
You can also make money from your RSS feed by using private ad deals. It can be very beneficial to you to negotiate with advertisers personally and sell
advertisement in your RSS feed.

3.Make use of advertising programs
Another really simple way to make money from your RSS feed is to add Google Adsense ads in your feed. This ensures you will get ads that are closely related
to the content. No matter what technique you use, you will need a decent number of subscribers.

Good tips indeed. If you have big list of feed subscribers then it is crucial to follow these steps because you will be loosing a lot of money. Most of rss subscribers very rarely visit you blog pages, so it essential to try monetize them in some other way. Luckily there are even some plug ins that can help you in that job.

A great subtle way of doing this (if you use Wordpress) is to use the Ozh Better Feed plugin. With this you can configure the feed from your admin area and add links back to your site, blog, sales page – wherever you choose. The links are then automatically added in the footer of every RSS feed.

I use it to provide a download link as a “thank you” for subscribing.

Let me know if you want me to provide the download link – it’s a free plugin of course.
