Tagging is one of the most important parts of creating a new blog post. Tags are short phrases and keywords that you use to describe your topic. It is also a quick and effective way to categorize your content.

Tags work like this: Every time you create a tag, a new page is created. So, if you made one new blog post and tagged it with 7 unique keywords or it means that you have created one page for the blog post and one page each for the 7 unique keywords or phrases.

For a Wordpress blog, tagging is really simple. There is an excellent plugin called “Simple Tagging “, a complete all-in-one plugin that provides everything you need for tagging, including the support of embedded tags.
