May 26, 2008 by Tom Lindstrom · 3 Comments

An interactive blog is often a very successful blog. You should do everything you can to get more comments on your blog. This means that the content you write needs to be interesting and relevant.Your blog must also be updated regularly.

Here are some tips you can use to increase the commenting on your blog.

1. Make it easy to comment.
If your visitors need to register before they can comment on your blog, chances are that you will not get too many comments.

2.Ask questions.
When you write a new blog post, try ending it with a question or in some other way leave it open and ask your visitors about their opinions.

3.Do you have a Wordpress blog?
If you do have a Wordpress blog there is several plug-ins you can use to increase the commenting. Here is a list of the best commenting plug-ins for Wordpress blogs.

4.Interaction.
When your visitors comment on your blog, make sure you participate in the discussion too.

I usually leave a comment if I find that the article is good and helps me in some way, because it does not take much time to leave a comment. If the blog has the no-follow tag removed from the comments area, I leave a constructive comment every time, this gives me a valuable link back to my site.Even if the blog has not disabled the “no follow” -tag, it is possible that I leave a comment.
