Nice! Whenever I get writers block, I simply look to my mooses or my family or my coffee cup for inspiration, and failing that….get myself to the gym. Losing myself in physical exercise generally gets my mind flowing once again.
Hi Barbara, thanks for stopping by again! Whenever I get writer´s block I have to do something else in order to get some inspiration. The best way for me is to take a 2 hour walk in the fresh air.
Really fresh ideas! I already use some of them, but found many new things. Thank you! Will be checking and testing them.
Hey Tom, great post you’ve included some top suggestions. I find cleaning the house tends to get me thinking about things to write about. I do find it hard at times to write on a daily basis but the ideas come and go like the wind at times. Keep up the great tips.
One of the things that I’ve summed up from your list that I really agree with is just to change your setting once in awhile. Sometimes I know that when I’m in one place for too long I begin to get writer’s block because I run out of inspiration. Then I change and go to the beach and write/brainstorm there and all of a sudden it’s like magic. All these different things come out or I come up with a solution to a problem that I originally couldn’t figure out.
Writer’s block can be very frustrating indeed. I used to stay and stare at the screen not wanting to do something else in fear of losing the desire to finish my write up. But when I started doing something else (as listed here) and go back to my writing, I was ecstatic that somehow my train of thoughts are back. Kudos!
Writer’s block is very common with bloggers. You must always have fresh and new ideas for your readers but because of writer’s block you cannot think of a good topic. What I do is go out of the house and go somewhere else – mall, park or coffee shop. When I go out I see other people and things that would inspire me to write again. Being in a different place with different surroundings truly helps.
You’ve come up with a great topic. Keep it up!
This is a common problem encountered by all writers. You have given great examples on what to do when writer’s block happens. I usually go to the library when that happens. In the library there are lots of potential topics that you could make. Also, there are generally great references for whatever topic that comes to mind.
Some of the writers, editor and even bloggers take this as their frustrations. But building good blocks may be common but relatively helpful. This article will really give better idea for everyone.
while writing the content , some of the content gets duplicated automatically, whether we are writing unique one, can you tell the reason.
Most writers face the writers block at one time or another and it is true that there are many ways to beat this. I think the best way to avoid this is to have a list which you use daily to get your topics. This list should be made as often as possible and each time you think of something then you should upgrade it. This will ensure that you never lack topics to write on.
