Conducting A Poll On Your Home Business Blog

ADVERTISEMENTS

by Tom

Having a home business blog is all about producing helpful and relevant content for your readers. To be successful at this you must know what your readers want and are expecting. If you get lots of constructive comments on a blog post, you know that this is something they want to read and find interesting.Sometimes you need a bigger perspective on things and this is when you need to conduct an opinion poll on your home business blog.

(Source, Wikipedia:An opinion poll is a survey of public opinion from a particular sample.Opinion polls are usually designed to represent the opinions of a population by conducting a series of questions and then extrapolating generalities in ratio or within confidence intervals.“)

You can use a poll for many things like asking what kind of content your visitors would like to read, to learn more about your visitors, what they think about your blog design, is it easy or difficult to find things on your blog… The important thing is to make it as simple as possible to take a poll, and you must be able to answer the questions with simply “yes” or “no”. When the poll is over you look at the percentage and make your decisions based on this.

How to get a poll?
You can create a free instant poll for your blog with lots of different sites online, but I tried these here below and they did a pretty good job.

If you are a Wordpress user, there is a free plugin called WP-Polls that is very useful.

Are you using polls on your site, and have they been helpful? Leave a comment.

I dont truly know what you talking about here. This cant be the only way to think about this can it? It appears like you know a lot, so why not explore it more? Make it a lot more accessible to everyone else who may not agree with you? Youd get a lot a lot more individuals behind this if you just stopped making common statements.
