Here is Google´s view on guest posting.Please take these guidelines into account when you are writing your posts and sending them to blog owners.
The blogs on this list (202+ blogs at the moment) are active and looking for high quality content.
I decided to accept blogs with a Page Rank 3 and above to the list.
I know that Page Rank is only 1 of 200 factors when it comes to deciding how well a website should rank in the search engines.
The list will be updated regularly with new blogs and remove those that are no longer accepting guest posts.
If you have a blog that accepts guest posts, you can add your information to this list.More information at the end of the post.
5 important tips before you begin:
# 1. Before you start writing and contacting blog owners, I highly recommend that you first leave good and meaningful comments on the blogs you are interested in guesting on, this allows the blog owner to get to know you and visit your blog.
Save the URL of the blog post you commented on and re-visit after a few days to reply.This shows that you are active and have much better chances of getting your own post published on the blog.
# 2. On the blog you are interesting to guest on, study the blog carefully and look for posts that have the most comments, tweets and Facebook likes because that will tell you what kind of content works well on that particular blog and will increase the chances of getting your post published.Not every post gets published, it is important to write for that particular blogs audience and provide something new and fresh.Posts like “how to make money online” just doesn´t work anymore.
# 3. Every blog has guest posting guidelines (the links below lead directly to the blogs guidelines page), make sure you read the guidelines carefully and follow them.Only the best content will be published, there is no point in trying to submit some spun articles to these sites.
# 4. The higher page rank a blog has, the harder it will be to get your post published.Start at the beginning of the list and you will have some references to show for the big blogs, they want to see some samples of your writing.
Every blogger wants to provide the absolute best information to their readers, only the best posts will be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, StumbleUpon and so on.
# 5. Before you start writing guest posts for other blogs, you should learn all you can about this very effective marketing tactic. Lots of people make costly mistakes and they will never get links back to their own blogs because the articles they write are simply not good enough. There is a lot of helpful information online if you know where to look.Forums and discussion boards have lots of good information.
If you are a visual learner, you can download “Guest Post Secrets” by Erica Douglass, a complete video training course (3 videos in total) where she reveals everything there is to know about this marketing tactic, strategies and insider secrets that you cannot find anywhere else.
Other than that, enjoy writing great content for other blogs and be sure to send this list to social sites, link to it from your own blog, write a blog post about it and add your own blog to this list…

I have a HUGE tip for those inquiring about guest posting. Most of the requests I get do not provide me with sufficient information to know whether I would accept their guest post or not, so I recently updated my guest post guidelines with this information:
REQUIRED: When you request to guest post you MUST provide these three things:
1) Proposed topic and/or post titles
2) Links to examples of existing published work
3) What sites, if any, you wish to link to in your post. Links ARE permitted, but we need to know in advance about any primary links you desire because that will save us both time if they land on a site we are not willing to have linked from GrowMap.
I hope that might help, but many don’t bother to read guidelines so I’m sure I will continue to get requests from bloggers who expect a yes without any idea who they are or whether they can even write or not.
Some of the worst writers seem to believe that we should publish their posts because they NEED us to do it or it is their right to be published. They need to understand that their writing must be of a particular quality – and I regularly find that exceptional writers don’t think they’re good enough to even ask and the worst writers believe they are so wonderful we should drop everything and edit their posts for them.
That is the last point I’d like to make. If your native language is not English do not be offended when the blogger tells you they can’t understand what you’re trying to say. We really mean that what you have written does not make sense in English.
While I do edit some posts to assist bloggers from other countries, I have to at least be able to understand what you’re trying to convey. Many times I can’t, and when that happens you will have to find someone more fluent in both languages to edit your posts for you or it will be very difficult to get them published on most quality blogs.

Good to see you’re using our GrowMap Anti-Spambot plugin. I had flashbacks of before it came out when I became a regular contributor somewhere else and they didn’t have it installed! 2000 bot spam comments in days. I was getting 1000+ per day at GrowMap which is how GASP came to be. What a blessing it is to me.
I love great guest posts – they are a blessing too – but some take twice as long to edit as it would have taken me to write them! The better your posts the more likely a blogger will publish them!

I also appreciate your tips Tom, Number one is so important get to know the blog owner before trying to submit guest posts. I’ve had quite a few people ask me if I’ll allow them to post on my blog and I’ve never heard of them. Wow!! What an extensive list, and by PageRank too. I’m going to be researching each and every one of these (wish me luck).
Guest writing is one of the “hot” items in SEO today. Why? because it makes people more and more conscious as to what article is to be written to be able to get approved and accepted as a guest post. #1 knowing the guest writer beforehand via comments or social channels is really positive.
#2 It’s common to find guest writers that have no clue about your blog, offering articles completely unrelated to the points of the blog.
#3 Having guest post guidelines help a lot, but you notice, at the same time, that lots of them don’t bother to read the same

Hi Eddie! You´re welcome! Many marketers think that guest posting is only a way to get a do follow link back to their site, when they should use is to build readership and reputation.The link is only a bonus.The five points before the list explains how it should work.
Thanks for approving my comment Tom! Well, I hope Google will not see something bad about guest blogging because I know that many online marketers right now are opting to do guest posting because they know the benefits of it. I’m really hoping that it will not abuse and by just only providing good information to the people not to search engines, especially Google.

Hi Eddie! Guest posting is really popular now because every other link building tactic seems to fail.I am personally very picky when it comes to approving guest posts on my blog, only the best ones will be approved.After all, it is all about excellent and helpful content, why approve something that is not up to the standards? Google will not have a problem, because they are only interested in delivering the most relevant and helpful search results.
