7 Sins Of Ad Copy

November 14, 2008 by Tom Lindstrom

Ad copy is the life blood of any online marketer and to be able to increase your sales regularly simply means that you must write excellent ad copy. (Terrible ad copy often turns off the prospects :) )

I have been marketing online for a few years and under this time I have seen lots of different advertisements, excellent ones, really bad ones, and in between. Here is a short list of crucial mistakes people do when they are writing advertising to promote a business or service online.

- no strong guarantee of 30 days money back or more
- proof of any kind that the product/service works
- no valuable bonuses
- to few ordering options
- no deadline of when the offer ends
- no free trials of the product/service
- the price too cheap or too high

What do you think? What are the things you simply must include in your ad copy and what are the things you cannot put in it? Leave a comment.
