Many people are looking for ways to work at home so they can finally escape the rat race and the dead end job they probably hate and finally do what they really would like to, but not everyone is up to it for some reason or another.
What abilities are absolutely necessary to have in order to succeed as a home business entrepreneur?

I would have to say that discipline is one of the most important abilities. So many people keep jumping from one opportunity to another and wonder why they never get anywhere. If you don’t stick to something and give it your best effort you will never know if it could have been successful. Doing too many things at once will only end in failure. But once you find something that does work just keep doing it.
