4. Writing Content

This is a process that will never end.If you are looking to become an authority online, meaning your blog will become the first choice to look at for more information, you need to write quality content regularly.You choose how often you write, some people write a new post every day and others once per week.Whatever you decide, keep to the rhythm.Don´t write 5 posts one day and then nothing for a month.Keep the rhythm you choose and you will do fine.

Many people choose to start a blog just for the money that can be made.This is not how it should be.When you make the commitment to write useful and helpful blog posts, the money will follow automatically.Add a few affiliate programs that are related to the niche of your blog, Google Adsense is popular too.When your blog becomes popular you can sell advertising from your blog and make money from that as well.

6. Marketing

Marketing your blog takes up a lot of your time on a daily basis.Blogs get easily indexed into the search engines and can be found with different keywords.But, you need links pointing back to your blog from as many related sites as possible.The back links and the traffic you get will determine how successful your blog is.Article marketing and social news sites are popular and effective ways to get your blog known on the internet.

7. Focus

You will not receive instant results, and there is no short cut to success online.It takes time to build a web presence.Commit to market your blog by writing quality content and market your blog every day, and you will see results soon enough.The bloggers who are making full-time incomes, have been doing this for years!
