Thanks for the info Tom. I’m still debating whether to use Adsense on my blog or not. I don’t want to be too aggressive with the positioning (like inside the post) as this will put readers off but I will probably experiment with it in the sidebar.
Hi Simon, thanks for commenting.Adsense is one of the easiest ways to earn money online so I recommend looking into it.
Just wondering at what point do readers get put off by excessive adsense ad, or ads of any type for that matter. Surely a point exists past which diminishing returns apply, especially if the blog or web page also sells proprietary products or services.
Hi Chris, excess advertising will certainly put off visitors.If the adsense ads offer relevant ads, then they complement the information on the page.Often less is more when it comes to adsense.
If a blog is mostly advertising it will put of lots of people.Content comes always first and advertising second.
