Competition is not really good. A better way to say it is competition CAN BE good. That is if you know how to get ahead of the competition. Your tips on how to do so is spot on. I agree about not falling into get rich quick scams. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. So make sure you research on it first.
I really enjoyed reading this article. It struck home because most of the money I make from my blogs comes from affiliate products sales from reviews.. it seems very logical that you don’t go for the hard sale but rather convince your visitors about the benefits and let them decide… I also find that it helps if I believe and actually use the product or service myself…
Point 4 I think is particularly valid… (The one about making your blog into a supermarket).
Its very easy to get seduced into trying to optimise your website for heaps of different keywords, however this generally means the quality and relevance of your content suffers…!
I agree, content of those blog sites are indeed compromised just to optimized their page. Some blogs are even non-sense as to the content per se but mind you, keywords are overflowing. I am not against blogs with numerous keywords on it, it’s just that sometimes, blow writers should take into consideration the idea that we read their blogs to gain more information
I think there needs to be a proper balance between what is good and what is required. Cause blogs should be informative but at the same time should be able to achieve the take of SEO. We often compromise the quality of content in the need for optimization. In fact a right balance is the key to consistently growing readership and a good page ranking and visibility.
